Stahl, Heinrich (1868-1942) Insurance agent and Jewish community activist In 1931 he joined the Kehillah (Jewish community administration) committee in Berlin and chaired it in 1933-1940. A co-founder of the National Representation (Reichsvertretung), he played a major role in the struggle of the Berlin Kehillah for dominance vis-a-vis the Representation. In 1939, he became the acting chairman of the Reich Association of Jews in Germany. In 1942, Stahl was banished to Theresienstadt, where he perished in 1942.
